POSITION: HVAC Refigeration Technician
Hourly rate will be based on experience
The position requires:
Conducting preventative maintenance tasks
Attending to breakdowns and carrying out necessary repairs
Possessing strong technical problem-solving abilities
Collaborating with apprentices as necessary
Maintaining and nurturing positive client relationships
Working effectively within a team or autonomously, with or without supervision.
The following qualifications are required for this role:
Mechanical HVAC Trade Certification
Active Refrigeration Handling License
Active Queensland Restricted Electrical License
Valid Australian driver’s license
Construction White/Blue Card
Gibbs Air Perks:

POSITION: Sheet Metal Duct Installer
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service. You will be responsible for completing sheet metal fabrication and installation across a variety of sites.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret working drawings related to specific area of expertise, either fabrication or installation
Install ductwork and fittings and associated equipment in accordance with fabrication design requirements or installation drawings to Company standards
Complete material and equipment take offs and ordering as required
Oversee the activities of Apprentices and Trades Assistants within the designated site team
Compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
Professional interaction with customers and clients
Accurate job documentation and reporting
About You
Trade qualified in Engineering and Sheet Metal Fabrication
Current Construction White Card
Current driver’s licence
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, well-presented, and customer focused
